During the week of November 11-15 we learned about the importance of voting. We learned that by voting we have to chance to choose and make our voices heard. We had a class election and the students voted on a class president. Our president was Sebastian and vice president is Denise. Congratulations!
Congratulations to Sianna, Amy and Sabrina for meeting their AR goal for the first nine weeks. These girls were treated to McDonald's for lunch because they met their goal. I can't wait to see who is going to meet their goal for the second nine weeks. Let's READ, READ, READ!!!!!!!
Frankenstein CupsHalloween was so much FUN!!!!! The kids came dressed as a character to one of their favorite books and we had a character parade. After the parade we made Frankenstein pudding cups. The kids drew Frankenstein faces on their cups, then they mixed in green food coloring into some vanilla pudding. Lastly, we topped off the cups with some crushed Oreo's. The Frankenstein cups were so delicious and so fun to make! Witches BrewIngredients for witches brew:

During that week we learned the importance of being drug free and ways to say no to drugs. We had a poster contest and we got 1st place in third grade!!!!!! We were all so proud.
